Estimating Agricultural Sustainability of Sholgara District Using the Analytical Hierarchy Process

This research aims to evaluate the sustainability of standard agricultural systems in 5 important villages Sholgara district Balkh province Afghanistan. To agriculture each village, three main environmental, economic, and social criteria were determined, criterion is composed several sub-criteria; total, 18 sub-criteria considered. data was collected form a questionnaire from farmers experts. complete questionnaire, selected by stratified random sampling, 110 questionnaires conducted district. The needed for this evaluation standardization model, weighting sustainability, designed experts using opinions economics, promotion education agriculture, ranking done. Moreover, Analytical Hierarchy Process, status calculated.
 results social, environmental analysis Khowja Askandar as most sustainable village with weight 0.237. Boyni Qara, Aghar Saye, Bauragai, Qurbaqqa Khana, weights 0.199, 0.197, 0.195, 0.173, respectively are priorities sustainability. Based on sensitivity analysis, increasing components level 0.38 0.33 will increase Saye economic part did not change priorities.
 make it possible know importance various parameters affecting compare good accuracy so that practical steps can be taken applying appropriate policies improve agriculture.
